One of our biggest challenges was finding a videographer willing to travel to our remote location and truly understand our story. That process felt stressful and uncertain until we connected with Charlotte. She took the time to understand our history and vision while providing much-needed guidance. Do you work alongside photographers and wedding planners?

Yes — in fact, I work closely with all of your wedding vendors for a common goal: to create a smooth, cohesive, and genuinely enjoyable experience for you. I communicate proactively, adapt to the flow of the timeline, and make sure everything feels collaborative rather than crowded.

We don’t want our wedding to feel like a production set. How do you approach that?

That’s exactly why couples hire us.

Your wedding should feel like a celebration — not a production filming site. We work intentionally but unobtrusively, capturing the moments as they unfold. We were told that we’re like ninjas, everywhere but also nowhere to be found. Haha!

What if we feel awkward on camera?

Almost every couple says this at first. You don’t need to perform. I’ll guide you when needed and step back when the moment speaks for itself. Most couples tell me it felt surprisingly natural.

How far in advance should we book?

For San Francisco weddings, 6–12 months in advance is common, especially for peak season dates. If your wedding is sooner, reach out — We may still have availability.

Do you travel outside of San Francisco?

Yes. While we’re based in San Francisco, I document weddings throughout Northern California and beyond.

What’s the difference between digital and Super 8 film?

TL;DR Digital = Clear + Modern. Super 8 = Retro & Nostalgic.
Digital videography uses modern mirrorless cameras to capture 4k videos which allows clear images, audio and longer coverage.

Super 8 uses real film that only allows about 3 minutes of filming on each cartridge, which makes every clip intentional and beautifully imperfect — like a memory you can hold.
Many couples choose both for a layered, timeless wedding story.
